First Reservation!!

Called today at our 11 month window to book a 2 bdr SV at our new home AKL Kidani village for a week beginning August 16th (me, DH, DD, and 2 good friends of ours with their 2 sons). No problem, got a dedicated 2 bedroom.

Hubby said to also check if we could get in over March break in a 1 bedroom for the three of us...so we got a 1 bedroom SV at Jambo House.

It was my first call to MS since joining DVC on our Disney Dream cruise in July...the CM was very kind, explained everything to me, told me she was using my banked points first, etc.

So far so good!!!

Welcom Home!! Sounds like a great first trip to your new "home". AKV is our home as well and we love it! We have never stayed at Jambo, but will be there next summer on the concierge level.

Life is always better when you can have two active DVC vacations to look forward to!!!

It is a special feeling when you book your first DVC trip.

The first time one of the CM's said "Welcome Home" I couldn't stop smiling. It was nice hearing it here, but nothing compares to the first time I heard it at WDW.

Congrats...the only rotten part is you have to wait 11 months to go. But I will admit time flies.....booking in December '10 for our November '11 trip, now its just around the corner.
