Hi All-
Like many others I've been lurking and reading these boards for quite some time and found them very interesting and very insightful. I finally got the courage to actually post today...

Some background information before I get to my question. My df and I are getting married in June at the WP, reception at Ariel's, and dessert party at French Island upper. We are going to Florida in March for our planning session with my parents who have never been to Disney! So as you can imagine planning a wedding at Disney with parents who have never been there can be interesting at times. But they are excited and supportive.

We are all very much looking forward to our planning session and getting things finalized.

My question is, does anyone have a general timeline for their wedding day. We are getting married at 2:30 and I'm wondering what time I need to leave for the WP, groomsmen, etc...

Thanks for all your help!

Our wedding is scheduled at 5 in the WP. The guys are supposed to be in the lobby of the GF for pictures to start at 3:30. The girls will go at 4 and we'll head over to the WP from the GF at 4:30.

Does that help?

Hi and congratulations! I wouldn't be too worried. At the Planning Session they will go over all of that with you. Generally I was told the pics start about an hour and half- hour before ceremony for the grrom and hour- 1.2 before for bride! Hope that helps.

Your WP will work out the schedule with you, but I would also run the schedule by your photographer and videographer. Randy had some good suggestions on changes we should make so that he could be sure to make it to particular places in time to get photos. The WP will be open to those changes, so be sure to run it by the photo and video people.

We also made our schedule to maximize the use of our limo. We had it come to POFQ first to pick up my DH and his party, then come back to POR to pick up me and my party, and go back to POFQ to pick up some of our very special guests that weren't riding the bus. That helped us to maximize our 3 hour use of the limo and it worked out perfect. There's no limit on the number of trips you can make with it; the only limit is time.
