First Post - Earning my Ears - Again!! :)

Hi Everyone! Former DIS Cast Member here. I had someone coming on here and reading just to see what I've been posting and it started to make me uncomfortable. Not a stalker or anything extreme like that, but I felt like I couldn't share my opinions or contribute. I stopped posting altogether for awhile and then started up again here lately, but it still felt weird. So, I decided just to start all over with a new name and see if that will help. I am going to miss my tags and my large post count, but that's okay as long as you all don't think I am a troll. I am re-introducing myself here on the CB since this was the board I was on the most. I'm too hooked on the DIS to quit!! Hope you all have a great day and look forward to posting more often again.

I know, the DIS is too powerful an addiction to give up. I hope you feel more comfortable - most of the people here are just fine.

It was someone in real life that found out my username- us DISSERS are all normal - its the rest of the world we have to worry about!

I too have considered doing this a time or two. The Dis has always been a great place for me to share and interact with others. It also provided a bit of anonymity and I found that I was able to share things here that I wouldn't or couldn't share with my "real life" family and friends.
I'm the one who shot myself in the foot though.
When I'd hear of a family member or friend sharing that they were planning a trip to Disney, I'd point them here. When I was really excited about something I had read here I'd open my big mouth and share. Then they started signing up and they all know my username and it's gotten me in trouble a time or two.
So, good luck on your endeavor of anonymity. I've thought about starting over a time or two but I don't want to lose my post count and tags and stuff.

I know what you mean. I told my sis about the DIS and I swear she looks for my posts all the time. No biggie though, at least it wasn't my MIL I told (long story).

I've learned my lesson though, from now on I'm keeping my lips zipped
