I was wondering if the Disney Magic provides splenda, oatmeal, brown rice and green tea. These are a few things that I would miss if they don't have them. Thank you!

I know that oatmeal is available during breakfast at the buffet upstairs. Green tea is available in the Cove Cafe. My wife lives off of that stuff. She was able to get some in the dining rooms on our last cruise, but not on our first one.

Not only do they have it, the chef that led the last cooking demonstration I saw (Adult Art of Entertaining) said he uses it in his desserts!

I haven't seen brown rice though -- would love it if I ever di!!!!

Welcome, sinaspice!! You've found an informative, friendly forum to ask questions and get responses from wonderful, experienced people! Let us know how we can help! I know a year ago I didn't know anything about DCL...thanks to these boards, I feel well informed for my first DCL cruise this coming Sept!

Enjoy all the planning!!

This is scary! I hope they label desserts as having Splenda if they use it in regular ones served at meals. Splenda makes me feel unwell, and I'm not the only one. I just feel odd afterward. I stay away from ALL artificial sweeteners, as does my family. Please, someone tell me if they use Splenda in the regular desserts!

No worries, Jenny! Splenda is only in the sugar free desserts that he concocted. He said it was superior to the others because it has real sugar as its base & would "brown nicely!"

Sorry to worry you!!!

Thank you! Though if all the desserts had Splenda in them, that would have been a great way to avoid gaining weight on the cruise!
