first night after a cruise what would u choose

kona or teppan edo

dont have a japanese hibiachi near me so
i have been to both before

The fact that this is a first night after a cruise wouldn't change my recommendation either way - Kona is the better restaurant. However, if you're going to be in Epcot anyway you may be just as happy at Teppan Edo. You may want to read the dining reviews here when trying to decide.

Teppen Edo is meh at best. sorry,spoiled by living in Japan for several years.

For the experience Teppan Edo is nice if you don't have anything like it where you're from. At the same time it is a LONG meal, so I would set aside at least 2 hours if you choose to eat here.

Kona is great, and of course you can always order the Ohana Bread Pudding here by request! That alone makes it a great choice

Depends on where you are staying. Do you feel like walking through Epcot for dinner? Will you have a car for easy transport to the Poly?
We have given Kona several chances and can't seem to understand the great reviews it gets.

Difficult choice. Both have their own merits. Kona has good food and walking around the Poly after dinner is pretty nice esp if you happen to catch Wishes. Teppan Edo has decent food and strolling around Epcot is great too for a first night and you can catch Illuminations. If I had to pick, it'd be Teppan Edo - because I'd be in Epcot.

Do not wait too long to book something. Restaurants book up months in advance, especially for peak dinner times.

It just depends on if you want to go to a park that night or not. If you planned on going to a park that day then I would say go to Teppan Edo, if not then go with Kona. Both are great restaurants, just need to decide where you want to be that day. Good luck
