First night meal?

I'm trying to come up with a good idea for a first night meal. It's going to be 8 of us-5 adults, 1 17 y/o, and 8 y/o and me (ok so I'm another adult, but I don't act like one lol). We're not going to be in a park, so I'm thinking either a monorail resort restaurant, or one on the boardwalk. However I had a request for WCC and I have no idea where else to put that.

Sigh-go figure, I'm trying to make 8 people happy and I've hit another roadblock. I also had a request for Le Cellier but I told him that I'll be lucky to get that and to not hold his breath.

I vote for 'Ohana. Dinner there is loud, busy, fun, delicious ... and a very festive way to start off your trip.

I also think Ohana is a great option. If you time it right - you might be able to catch Wishes during dinner.

Another vote for Ohana. We always do Ohana for our first dinner! Sounds like it would be a great fit for your situation.

HDDR is fun with a big group. Going to DTD might be good, too, if you want to get a little shopping in and since it's your first night, most of the stores there can send everything back to your hotel so you don't have to drag it around while you are shopping. We always go to DTD on the first day or two of our trip because of this.

I vote for Ohana as well. Really nice meal and the Poly is a fun place to see.

We always do planet hollywood the first night. Another good one would be raglan road.

We always go to ohana as well but generally do that another night.

Espn is also good with teens.

a great place that will please everyone is in downtown disney. wolf gangs puck express next to the earl of sandwich. food is excellent and the service is top notch. have something for everyone. i know you won't go wrong. enjoy your stay and dinning.
