First meeting with SM

Hope everyone is well.

Girls, finally I got the name of the person I am meeting on my trip to book my wedding in April. Diane Mahoney-Browne. Have ay of you met her before?

And....I picked my wedding dress on Saturday....its fantastic, real fairytale with lots of sparkle. My poor mum was crying and when I saw her reaction it just had to be 'the one!'.

If any of you could give me any info on Diane and tips on what I should be prepared to discuss at this initial meeting I'd be forever grateful

You are going to LOVE Diane! She was my SM too We met her during our site visit. She is so nice and on top of things! Let her know beforehand a few sites you'd like to see and she'll make sure you can do that on your site visit. She'll drive you around to look at all the places. You'll really have fun with her

Diane is the BEST!!! You're lucky to have her working with you. I know I asked her a million questions and she never seemed bothered and she answered them all promptly. Every random question I had she tracked down an answer and got me everything I was looking for. Have fun!

I don't know Diane, I booked my wedding with a different SM, but I am so excited for you!

Just make sure to look at the venues in the wishbook and try to get a clear idea of what size of wedding you want - roughly how many people? Some venues are best for 10 people, others are best for 100! Do you want an inside or outdoors venue? If it's in the summer, outdoors can get HOT!

Don't be embarrassed to take as many ripped-out magazine pages and pictures as you like. Everyone I've dealt with at DFTW has been so helpful and nice, and have always wanted to get ideas for the kind of wedding I am imagining. I am sure you'll have a great time - good luck and have fun!

Diane is awesome. I loved her. She was super helpful and very quick to respond to any questions. I met her when we went on our intial visit to pick our reception location. She was great. You are in good hands!
