first long weekend in november availability

availability is already limited. what's going on that wed-sun?

One of DVC's extremely high demand times of the year when even SSR has a risk of filling before 7 months out, particularly for the Friday of the weekend. Reasons are multiple: points are low, weather is usually perfect; it is part of Jersey week when New Jersey schools are on holiday; it is the last weekend of Food & Wine which ends on the Sunday; the Food & Wine half marathon is Sat; the Friday usually begins Christmas decorations in MK and to some extent in other parks and you get the first night of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

I expect that the slow DVC times will soon be gone. Disney seems to really be on a campaign to increase resort bookings and to increase park attendance.

Every Disney movie, every princess, every possible celebration will have a parade or some type on running event. Halloween and Christmas celebrations are getting longer each year.

Food & Wine is extending another week this year, last day 11/16.

DVC members were sold points to stay in their home resort 51 weeks in the year. Instead a large number of members all try to stay in a WDW resort from late September through the first weekend in January. The WDW resorts will book up earlier for all these weeks. But as to the first long weekend in November is booking up because of Jersey week, Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend, and The Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend.
