First time here - 1 br. and not as impressed as I thought I would be. I think I am spoiled by the 1 Br at OKW, they are much bigger and layed out a little better. I finally figured out what you were all talking about with the elevators and the long walks. I did ask for a fire works view room and got it. The CM at check in was a sweetheart. Haven't heard a welcome home yet. Beach is beautiful at night looking over to BW and the buffet at Cape May Cafe is really well done.

Just got back just me and DH this time so we had a studio. It was our first stay at the BCV we realy enjoyed it so much. Spent alot of time relaxing by the pool and the location to Epcot and MGM awsome.

I'm glad you got a view that you are enjoying!

Are you driving? The guard at the gate has never failed to Welcome us home.

Bobbi :sunny:

Scraper, do you remember what your room number was? Was it smoking or not?

Different things impress different people. Obviously, room size and layout are high on your list of what you look for in your accommodations, and that's perfectly fine.

Others are impressed with SAB, as there isn't anything like it at any WDW resort.

Others are impressed with the easy access to EPCOT, MGM and the Boardwalk.

And that's fine too. I'm thankful (and so is Disney) that not everybody likes the same thing. Otherwise, we'd all be looking for the same resort (even the same rooms) all the time, and Disney would have a hard time selling more than one resort.

not much diff then being in certain building at OKW and having to walk to the HH or get in a car to go to HH and find a parking space or wait for the bus to drop you at the HH. all these things take long too. :goodvibes

glad you got your view it's nice isn't it? :cool1:

We like the Epcot area because it's close to 2 parks and the BW and S/D :Pinkbounc

We also like OKW for a nice qiuet time :thumbsup2

I agree the villas at OKW are much larger. I can't comment on the layout of the villa though, because we have been pleased with the layout of all the DVC villas.
The appeal of BCV for many folks, is more for location and views than for the size of the villas.
We also love the view of the beach and boardwalk at night, it is very pretty and so relaxing to just walk around and take it all in.
We used to love Cape May Buffet but have been disappointed in our last few meals there.
Thanks for the report. Have a great trip!

On the other hand Granny, if they did do that highlighted above, there would be very little, "no rooms at the 7 month window," complaining! :)

(Yep I'm a frog)

And TALK ABOUT SMALL try VB! I felt the 2 bedroom villa was smaller than the OKW laundry room!

Thanks for the report!! Enjoy your stay!!

I wish I was at BCV right now...but, then again...I'd want it to be about 75 outside...so, I guess that wouldn't work!! ;)

Have fun!!!

Yes, are we the only ones who think that's the pits? I know it's trivial but we LOVE hearing it. It's really a bummer when you don't here it when driving through the gate or checking in. You'd think they would make it a policy. :confused3

Yeah, but the waitlist for that one set of rooms would have 50,000 members on it! :teeth:
