First Haircut in MK? Any pics? (post # 18)

My niece is 10 and often visits the Barber Shop. When she has her fixed it is usually in a kind of crazy style with teasing and confetti

mrstomrice and mimif1 Thanks for sharing your pics :) It looks like such a grown up setting but there's nothing but smiles going around there :) I can't believe I've never seen anyone with these kinds of hair designs before at all in Disney!

My youngest brother said that if he goes to the park with us, he wants DS to get a Mickey mohawk. Yeah, that'll happen given that he will start preschool this year :rolleyes2 lol

Here are some pictures from my little girl's first hair cut at Disney. She was 10 months old (this was in 2003). She got a hat, a certificate and I got a lock of her hair. It was great fun and they did a great job.

I'll post pictures of her last hair cut at Disney as well in my next message! It was last year and she was 3-years-old. Still fun!

Continued......You can see a little of the "Pixie Dust" in the second one. That stuff was falling out all day! :)

shmoogrrrl those are adorable pics! Your DD is going to love watching the age progression each year she gets her hair done at Disney :)

***I can't wait to get to Disney now! DD reminds me of Cousin It with her hair in the face and DS is looking a bit scruffy. I'm using all my will-power to wait till June :lmao:

Thanks! We are going back in August, so I plan to get her hair cut again. She got a real kick out of it. We actually got my Husband's cut last time too. He wasn't as excited over the pixie dust. :)

So do they also charge $14 for the pixie dust and/or confetti. what about getting the hair styled? -Beth

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: Now that you've brought it to my attention, I think I'll make DH get a Mickey on his head with the pixie dust! :rotfl2: Our poor DH's :rotfl2:

Have fun in August!

Here are a couple of my boys and their 'do's. It is definitely worth it. I'd go first thing in the morning. We've done it twice and our longest wait was about 30 minutes - still well worth it.
