We are going on our first WDW trip since DD was diagnosed with Celiac Disease. Does anyone know if Goodings has gluten free choices (snacks & frozen meals) and if not where close by does? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks!

~Erika

When we stopped by goodings, they didn't seem to have much of anything, very sparse in there, in general, couldn't specifically talk about celiac free.

However we first went to publix, and they have a much larger selection of everything, however again, can't specifically say celiac free. I googled then and the number is below.

publix

They suggest Chamberlains.

Rice Dreams has a list of stores that carry their products.

Annie's is renown for its gluten free salad dressing, pasta, olive oil, and condiments. Some of their dressings are vegan and corn free. I use their products as they are very safe for my allergies.

Whole Foods Market is located south west of Universal Studios and northeast of WDW.
Below is the map for the two Orlando area Stores then a link to the store itself.

Take the 4 freeway north to Sand Lake and head west.
They carry gluten free baked goods.

A list of manufacturers that sell gluten free foods. Something I found that is interesting but not related to this matter, lol. FOOD, screech, churchy is waddling after food as usual, lol.

Some big stores like wal-mart and Albertsons might carry some GF foods but for specialty I think Whole Foods and Chamberlain are good bets. Some things are sold at WDW that are GF like plain potato chips. Goodings is a convenience store and I had to make a fake order to see what they sell. There was no information on the products online and the stuff you could have delivered only contained things like potato chips and Fritos but not stuff you would find at Wal-Mart, Chamberlains, or Publix.

They list publix and chamberlains but not Whole Foods Market.

I would suggest going to the Whole Foods Market at the intersection of I-4 and Sand Lake Road. Get off I-4 at Exit 74 and turn LEFT at the bottom of the ramp. After you go under I-4 you will see the market on your left. Make your first left onto Turkey Lake Road and then the first left into the new shopping center. (Note, mapping programs and Virtual Earth both show very empty land, but it does exist.)

If you are flying and renting a car, take the Beachline (SR-528) to where it says I-4 East to Orlando and stay in the right lane; Sand Lake Road is the first exit.

Thank you all for your help. I am always impressed with how quickly people on the boards are willing to offer help and support and it makes the hard things in life just a little easier.

Thank you to all, I have printed out the information and know that my DD will be fine on our trip!
