Nice announcements Jen. Thanks for plugging the FE's!

Our flights have been holding steady at $89 each way for awhile now. I got a DING fare today, but it stops short of our dates by about 10 days...grrrrrr...

I need to book our flights soon...I just keep putting it off...lol

can't wait to listen to the show, i didn't have time today. can't wait to hear what you said Jen!:thumbsup2

i never read HP, but saw the movies. i am sure i would have loved them, but i was deeply enthralled in the Dark Tower series by Stephen King that overtook my life for a while and i just didn't have time for another long addiction! lol

oh and i drove a 1980 Grand Prix, it was a hoopty.

First car...1972 Mercury Meteor Rideau 500.

Got it from my dad's friend for $200 in 1981.

About 24' long!!
What a boat!
Unfortunately this is the only pic of it, right before I went to court for my first traffic accident, hence the suit... :rotfl2:

But a few years later I was cruisin' in my favourite, most fun, car.

I've been in and out the past couple of days due to work.

Have we found Todd?

Just checking in...

mostly caught up with the board.

Since we are sharing 1st cars. Mine was a 1971 Red Ford T-bird with suicide doors. So classy:rolleyes:
I'm so short I had to sit on a pillow to drive the darn thing. :rotfl:

And to the Twilight fans.. count me in.

I read the books in about 2 weeks. But I didn't know about this 5th book. I'll have to check it out.

You're right Jen, it's been really quiet here for the past day or so. I can't post too much during the day. Maybe we can liven things up here tonight.

Kim

I'm trying to get in here and check periodically...i'm on my own laptop and using the complimentary building network...sneaky sneaky...

Got a project to work on, but i'll check back with ya later!

Todd...if you're out there...:wave2: post soon so that we can stop worrying!! :grouphug:

I'll be in Chi-town all weekend and its been super busy at work..so I'm slacking off. Well...with Todd MIA we can't get up any steam.

Might as well join in on the first car stories - mine was a 89 Le Baron. I didn't get my license until I was older - we lived in a small town so I never had to walk more than 2 miles to get anywhere. Once I knew I was moving, AND the graduated licensing was coming in, I got my license quick!

My Dad arranged for me to buy the car from his friend's wife - she had cancer and wouldn't be driving herself around until after her treatments and they had already decided she would get a new car to celebrate afterwards. I got one week to test drive the car before agreeing to purchase!

(And she is still cancer free now)

great pic Jon! :)

Jen- you sounded great on the show- i am listening now!

Brandie- we miss you. but i know the feeling- i am so busy at work, i only am here to just clear my head for a few minutes throughout the day to take a break from the madness.

Hopefully Todd is okay, he is going to be so thrilled we all miss him so much! :grouphug: :earsboy:

I just spent more $$ on disneyoulet- ordered the black luggage set for $59 and some disney mickey bathroom stuff to redo my son's bathroom. i think i'll paint it this weekend.

Finally listened, Jen great job! It needed porn music...but you sounded great..
