I still write checks on occasion. Sometimes it's the only thing you can use (usually school/sports related). The last check I wrote was in Oct. to the NC DMV..... license renewal. They must not have accepted credit cards.

I write checks for a few regular things still - dance classes (mine), monthly theraputic massages (therapist works out of her home), and occassionally for the hairdresser as her salon is so small she's only open 3 days a week. Oh and Scholastic books from school.

I even still carry a checkbook!

Weird.

I work with someone who sits down reguarly to balance her checkbook. I can't remember the last time I didn't just pull up the online statement to make sure the check cleared.

That's the spirit. I think Pittsburgh is going to win it all, but that's why they play the games. I guess we'll see.

Twilight update -

Read Midnight Sun - LOVED IT!!!!! It really gave me a whole new perspective on where Edward is coming from and what his life is like!!

About 200 pages into New Moon - All I can say is I hope it gets better.
