Now on a cruise topic for a minute.
Does anybody know how to book the rainforest room for the days we are cruising.
Do I have to wait till we board the ship?

You do have to wait until you are onboard. Just stop in when you want to use it. We have stopped on the first day to sign up for the cruise long pass or just on the day you want to use it.

What are the hair dryers like onboard? I have thick hair that doesn't like to dry. My dryer is heavy duty, but it is also heavy. Do you think I will need to bring my own?

They are ok, but I would not recommend them for thick hair. They do not really heat up much. They are like a vacuum cleaner hose in reverse (and sound like one too). I bring my own because I like to sit and get ready at the desk.
