My 12 year old and I were talking about Twilight. I asked her who she imagined Edward to look like when she read the book (she read the books before the movie came out)... she said she imagined him to look like Sean Maher (some guy from the show Firefly and the movie Serenity)... she asked me who I saw in my head when I was reading the book... I told her a young, unhealthy Robert Downey Jr. She asked me who I thought Bella looked like... I said...

IMO Disney's old chicken strips were soooo much better than McDonald's nuggets. But alas they are a thing of the past. But I did hear on another podcast that they still had them on the cruise ships. We shall see. The new chicken nuggets that Disney is serving can't hold a candle to the strips.

I don't like the new nuggets in the parks - I prefer the strips. So I will probably eat the strips on the cruise every day.

She told her all sales are final and asked her to pick another item off the menu. I wonder why they didn't tell her they were out of nuggets before she paid?

Whoever heard of all sales are final in a restaurant?!?!? Especially if they don't have the item you ordered. That McD's manager needs to be shot with that little french gun Don posted earlier.

Sounds like McDonald's was in the wrong here. If you charge someone for an item and then realize you don't have it, then you should refund the persons money. I don't see how you can make the person choose another item. How can all sales be final if you never received the item you ordered? She certainly had a gripe with the restaurant, but the 911 calls were ridiculous and uncalled for.

I would have been pissed but I would have picked another item and gone on with my life.
