I used to pull my DH into any student loan related questions that came up over here on the DIS. He worked in that industry up until last year when he was laid off...


But he's a gadget geek through and through. Get him talking about computers or gadgets or something with lots of buttons...and he's a happy guy!

Ohh, tell him to come here and talk GPS, Blackberry, Universal remotes, DVDs, BlueRay, PC, Laptop, AirCard, Wireless, Cameras, Digital Photo Frames...I'm sure I have more gadgets, but that was all I could think of right now

Me 2! Hit one button and everything turns on/off for you...I want to get the RF one next, but still can't pull the trigger for the high price.

We got a Wii for Christmas and still have not completely set it up yet. The big test is when my mom comes over to watch my son. She can actually operate our TV. When we got the surround system we almost lost our minds. It was the best couple hundred dollars I have ever spent in my life.

The RF one is really nice. We almost bought that one originally too, but just couldn't do it. We did spend the extra for the rechargeable one.

My grandmother is so gadget challenged, it's pathetic.

She still has learned how to work the TV remote, and trying to watch her answer her cell phone is absolutely hysterical!! She refuses to get a computer because she can't stand the things!!!!

I just don't get it.

I cracked the shell...need to keep digging...he claims it's too hard to keep up in this online community...hmmmm...wonder why he would think that....

He's done the online community thing before, but nothing's caught his interest enough since he left that chapter of his life behind. And now his wife is obsessed...


I tried to tell him that with us, it's no big deal to miss a few days and come back. We've gotten pretty good at the summary thing...

I have a brother that works in the student loan industry now. He's always talking to me about it whether I want to hear it or not.

I think we'll have a lot of time to talk about gadgets and computers on the boat or DATW. I wish we had more time to speak at last year's Indy DIS meet. It was just too crazy, busy!

I can understand, I've never been a big fan of forums other than to gather some info. Some how I got attached to this one when they started the Podcast forum and have been a regular since. I don't frequent any other forums and the only other thing I use is facebook (after fighting it for years).
