First Ever DISUnplugged Podcast Cruise Eight is Enough, more than enough

We've eaten "up top" upon boarding the ship for both of our previous cruises, but it's pretty crazy trying to balance your carry-on, finding and saving a table, navigating the buffet, etc.

I think we'll move toward Parrot Cay this time. Of course we're using DCL transfers, so I'm not sure when we'll actually arrive at the port. Maybe the initial rush will be over.

I think Parrot Cay is a buffet for lunch too - right? The same food actually, just different venue? But you are actually shown to a table and seated, so you don't have to fend for yourselves in that regard?

Just to give you an idea. I waitlisted at the Beach Club on 2/12 and it came through on 3/4. I was not exactly at the front of the waitlist.

Waitlist for BWV and BCV and book the Dolphin. If the WL doesn't come through then stay at the Dolphin. If it does cancel the Dolphin.

As much as I hate to admit this, Chris has a point about using our points since we have them. Maybe I'll book SSR and waitlist for BWV, or BCV. hmmmmmm......

Even if it is a buffet, I know DH will be MUCH happier not having to juggle everything he's carrying, plus food...and worry about saving a table...not to mention all of the people...lol

I am having a simliar problem for before the cruise. Right now I have BC booked, but I also have the Radisson at the port. We have the points so I feel like maybe we should just stay at BC.

That stinks Jen. I know a lot of people like SSR, but it is my least favorite of the DVC resorts. You could always book it and waitlist for AKV, BCV and BWV.

That's my understanding Dodie! It is a buffet where you are seated. I wonder how quickly it will fill up. We are using DCL transfers as well. I may tip our motor coach driver to see if he/she will go over the speed limit.

You can only waitlist at 2 places now. And if you had a waitlist say for December you could only do 1.
