Just did 24 hour advance check in with Southwest. A23, A24 and A25.

not bad we usually get numbers in the 30's ugh!! We get our boarding passes at 8:15 pm tonight...

Saturday the 16th. How difficult is it to take a taxi or towncar? How much would that run? Should I see about FL Tours?

We are going back Sunday...you could have jumped in our towncar.
I booked FL Tours, just for the way back $60 for two of us.

Well we were supposed to be landing in Orlando right about now, but, we are back at JFK.... About 10 minutes after takeoff, the pilot came on and told us the plane had engine trouble and he had to turn around and land the plane back at the airport. Needless to say, we were quite upset and nervous. He landed the plane successfully, and we had many cars from the NYPD and Fire Dept trucks waiting for us to land

We have now deplaned and are waiting for them to get us on another plane.
Thank goodness we didn't have anything planned for today, as the day is shot.

I'm just hoping that we get on the next plane soon and get there safely.
NOW I need a drink.

That's it, get all the drama of your vacation done with first thing. Now there is nothing but relaxing left to do.

I checked in with Air Tran this morning. One of these times I'm going to leave seat assignments. There are TONS of open seats, yet they put us all over the plane. Maybe they are only looking out for my best interests by giving me peace and quiet. But, I'm sure the person who is sitting next to Emilie 5 ROWS behind me won't enjoy the ride.

Guess where I am!!

We just checked into the Swan and we were offered a complimentary upgrade. We are in a resort view room now with a balcony. We're pretty much facing the back of the Boardwalk resort. Gonna go walk around a bit. The fam wants to go swim in the pool too. Gonna go to Bubbalou's Bodacious BBQ later for dinner. We ate lunch at Earl's (Earl of Sandwich). YUM! The HRH was awesome over at US. Gotta say it was much nicer than the Swan. DH didn't think US was as nice as WDW but we still had a good time. We coulda stayed there 2 more days though. Just went from attraction to attraction without exploring much else. Ok. Gotta go now. Just wanted to pop in and say HOWDY! See you guys in a coupla days!! I'll check back in later this evening. BYE!

Looking forward to getting to meet the other Iowa Dissers. I fly out in 13 hours and 34 minutes..... I have yet to pack!!
