I am hoping that the seasoned veteran DVC'ers here could give me a bulleted list of what we should do prior to our trip in March for spring break. There are four of us, two adults and two kids 8 and 4. We will be staying the a 1-bdrm at BLT. I'll get things rolling.

1. Make dining reservations..
2. ??

In addition to those mentioned:

Before making dining reservations, look up park hours, extra magic hours as well as schedules for fireworks, parades, and other shows you plan to see for the week you will be there. This can vary greatly from week to weekand may help when planning ADRs

Purchase park tickets through Disney or one of the discount ticket brokers

Make arrangements for your pet if you have one

Transfer points from Disney Visa to Disney Visa Rewards Card (if you have one)

Order groceries for your room from Disney, Garden Grocer, or WeGo, etc.

Stop mail and newspaper

Be sure to bring your DVC member card, annual passes or tickets, TIW card (if you have one) in addition to identification, credit cards and cash.

If flying, don't forget your airline tickets and put magical express tags on your luggage.

If a few days of rain is forecasted, you may want to purchase inexpensive rain ponchos at home rather than purchasing them at Disney

If you are driving, in addition to the above suggestions, Take a case of bottled water. we eat breakfast in the room so we take some breakfast-y things.
We also take some beer and wine for the room.

Thanks for the posts so far. We are driving and we are Disney veterans, just never been on a DVC trip since buying in last year. We go every year and thought that we needed to just go ahead and "own" a piece of the magic. So far it seems we are doing good.

1. ADR's (check)
2. Passes (debating AP's)
3. In room food (check)
4. We have a Disney Visa but are unsure how to use it to our advantage. Any help appreciated here.
