First DVC trip how to buy annual passes & such

So we are leaving in a few days for our first DVC trip and I have a few questions. We want to do the annual passes since we will get a DVC discount how and where do I need to go to purchase them? Also with the AP & DVC discounts offered will I need to carry my ID with me, as this is something I don't normally bring to parks with me. I am sorry these are dumb questions but I like to be prepared. TIA

You can bring your DL and DVC member ID to any guest services at the parks or at DTD and purchase the AP for the discounted rate. Or you can purchase it online at the member site and pick it up at guest services when you arrive.

If you want DVC or AP discounts, you have to show your cards. And you may also need to show a DL to get them as well.

I would make sure that you bring you DVC id with you for the dicounts. ALl member services at the aprks can sell the annual pass.

We just did this in May and had to show our DVC member card and a photo ID for all members in the party over 18 (or was it 18 and over?). We picked it up at the entrance to the park.
