First DVC stay what do I need to know?

We are staying at BLT Lake View Studio Nov 28 to Dec 5. This will be our first stay as DVC members. What do I need to know? We added dining made our ADR. What is your advice for a first time stay as a member? What do you wish you knew your first stay?

Things to bring:-

Coffee & Coffee filters

Dishwasher tablets

Washing up powder

What not to bring:-

Pack light...use the washer and dryer

Top tips:-

You can get free wifi access in the lobby as well as the TOTW lounge.

TOTW great place to hang out with a glass of wine and catch up on emails...

Free DVD rental from the community hall

Cocktail at the poolside bar, very good.

When coming back from EPCOT A nice change isthe get the ferry back to MK forn the ticketing and transport centre and walk back.

Tennis courts are great!

What is welcome home wed?

It's a fun little get together put on by DVC for members at Atlantic Dance at The Boardwalk Resort on Wednesday afternoons. They pick members out of the crowd to play a jeopardy type game. They usually give out some kind of nice gift such as a DVC baseball hat for attending. We went to one last summer and had fun. They give you little snacks too. Our kids really enjoyed it!
