Hello everyone
I have been reading these boards since I started planning our wedding last year. We were planning on having a Disney Wedding, but we were not able to afford it since we decided to buy a house this summer. So instead we are having our wedding at Leu Gardens, a reception dinner at Bahama Breezes and then we will all go to the Food & Wine Festival at EPCOT the day after the wedding. We live in Orlando by the way!
Since everyone has been helpful on these boards, I just wanted to share some of my planning with you all.
I went to Carolyn Allens for my first dress fitting this week. I was so nervous that dress wasn't going to fit me since I bought it almost a full size too small! But if any of you recall helping me pick it out, I was able to get it for 75% off because the boutique was going out of business! Good news is she only has to take it out a little bit. I will have the best posture ever at my wedding. Here is a picture of me at the first fitting...
I also JUST ordered our invitations this morning!! Yikes!!! Since we are having only 25 people at the wedding, we have already received responses from everyone so the invitations are more a formality that I still wanted to do. The wedding is 32 days away! I had the hardest time picking something out but this is what we decided on..
I'm not sure if any of you have ever been to Leu Gardens or not but I also wen there to take a few pics of the Trellis area which is where we decided on for the ceremony. Here are a couple pics...
I will continue to keep everyone updated on our progress. I will continue to read everyone's trip reports and wish that our wedding was with the Mouse too! We are using Arturo Macias for our photography www.artzphoto.com I dont think I've ever seen anyone on these boards use him before, but I decided on him because I went to his studio and his work was amazing and comparable in pricing to the others doing disney weddings.
Take care!
Jackie

I especially like the design at the top and how it looks so floaty on the bottom. It doesn't look too small for you at all. The place where your wedding will be is gorgeous!!! As long as you are married at the end of the day, it doesn't matter if it was in Disney or not! Your invitations are lovely as well. Good luck!
(Actually this year is my 25th anniversary - YIKES! How fast the time goes by!)
