Sorry in the delay in posting the other parts of my report. This is a very long post- it was a great day though lol.

Anways here is day 4 which was fantastic!!

Day 4- Wed Dec 12th:

I didn’t really get any sleep yet again but I was really looking forward to the day ahead which would be our last full day.
Our first port of call was to go back to the Studios for a little while and done a little more shopping there too. Then we headed back to the Disneyland Park in time to catch the Mickey’s Winter Wonderland show at 1.30pm. I loved the ending of it with Minnie and Mickey and the horses. It looked beautiful.

After the show we went on Phantom Manor. It was about 2.30pm and the Lion King show was going to start at 3pm so we headed for Videopolis. We got told at the City Hall that if you arrive about 10 mins before the start of the show its fine. But we got there 20 mins before and just as we did, we got turned away because it was full. I was gutted because due to the time we had left there wouldn’t be time to fit in any other showing of it. So we decided to go and have a late lunch and as we passed Café Hyperion I realised it was there you could get your lunch but also watch the Lion King show from inside. Unfortunately it didn’t have a good view of the stage.

After that it was around 3.45pm and the Once Upon a Dream parade was due to start at 4pm so we headed back out to find a good spot. We got a fantastic place and I totally loved the parade and it was great to watch it all properly. I got a bit carried away taking photos too but I love to get as many pics as I can. It was absolutely freezing though and we felt totally frozen at the end of the parade. We walked away looking more like the marching nut cracker soldiers lol. Straight from the parade we went and queued for the Peter Pan ride. It was great and I loved the starry sky.

It was getting quite dark now and it was time for The Enchanted Candleabration to start. We didn’t get a particularly good view of the characters but the castle looked absolutely stunning and it was so dramatic and magical when all the lights were changing on it and on the street lamps. It was just so amazing especially at the end when the gold fairy dust sprinkled out from Tinkerbell’s wand at the top of the castle.

We were all feeling so numb by now and couldn’t stand out in the cold any longer but the last parade wasn’t for another 30 minutes or so, so we went into Casey’s to get a hot drink. Me and my grandma got a nice hot chocolate and my mam got a cup of tea. It was lovely and warm inside so we made the most of it before going back outside into the cold to watch the last parade- Fantillusion. A lot of people were already standing in place when we went out but we found quite a good spot near by. It was such an incredible parade. All the floats looked so lovely lit up and yet again the Villains float was one of my favourites. That was my favourite on the Once Upon a Dream Parade too. Mickey Mouse looked great too, well they all did really.

It was the end of a very, very, very cold day! But it had also been a fantastic and very memorable day with lots of laughs. We had one more thing left to finish it all off nicely- a meal booked for 8pm at Café Mickey’s. I had been so excited for this because I really wanted to do a character meal. I don’t think my mam and grandma really knew what to expect but they thoroughly enjoyed it all and we all thought it was the best food we’d had during the whole holiday.

The character interaction was brilliant and great fun and it was amazing seeing how happy all the kids were and seeing them dancing with the characters. It makes it really special. The atmosphere was so much fun and our waiter was brilliant and very sexy! All of the food was lovely and very tasty but non of us managed to finish it all. I felt like a total big huge fat pig by the end of it but I’d had a fantastic day and night and that was the perfect end to it. We managed to get our photos taken with 7 of the 8 characters that had been around. Pluto had to dash off at the end as I guess it was late and they had to finish. But right at the end when we got the bill, our waiter told me to keep the card it was in because it had his number on for me to give a call. I was like ahhh but laughed thinking he probably says that to everyone but we got a group photo with him just before we left and then a photo of me and him lol.
When we got out it had gone so foggy, it was a really heavy fog and you couldn’t really see much in front of you and it was still freezing but we were on our way back to the hotel after a really magical day.
