Hi all! First post here.

We have our first trip booked for Nov 27 - Dec 1 and will be attending MVMPC on the 28th. We are currently trying to plan out our week using this board for advice along with Touring Plans. Since we will be attending the MVMCP one night, and the ride wait times are typically lower on party nights, would it be smarter to use our FP+ selections that day on meet and greets for our 4 year old to meet the princesses instead of using them on rides?

Are you going to MK the same day you're doing the party? If so, and your kid wants to meet characters, I'd personally use FP+ on characters (Cinderella/Elena, Tiana/Rapunzel, and either Enchanted Tales with Belle, meeting Ariel, or if your child cares about more than princesses, meeting Mickey Mouse or Tinkerbell at Town Square Theater. Don't forget that if you use all 3 of your pre-arranged FP+, you can use the app or a kiosk in the parks to make one more!) If you're doing a different park on that day and then going to MK for just the party, it depends on which park you're doing as to what I'd suggest you use the FP+ on .

I'll probably be at the same VMCP, btw! Hope you have a fantastic first trip!!

We will be going to MK the day of MVMCP but with a late start. We have a 9:35 reservation at BBB at DS that morning and planned on grabbing an early lunch before heading to the park since it'll be a long day. We also have a 6:30 ADR at BOG that evening during the party but were planning to eat a QS dinner and just do dessert at BOG so we don't miss much of the party. I will plan on using the FP+ selections on characters and then doing the rides in the evening!

The one exception is if you want to ride 7 Dwarves Mine Train--lines for it stay long even during the party. But yeah, other than that you should be fine doing rides during the party. If your daughter is able to stay up late enough, I recommend doing some rides with longer lines (Peter Pan's Flight, especially) during the first parade, then watch the second parade. Crowds get smaller after the first parade, and its easier to get a good spot for the second one, and also crowds flock to the first parade so lines for the rides (or any characters you may want to see other than maybe Nick and Judy, the 7 Dwarves, and Jack-as-Sandy-Claws) get shorter during the first parade.

The only caveat to mention with doing the princesses during the day is if I'm not mistaken during the party if you meet a princess her prince also meets with her. So that would be one thing to consider.

Just want to compliment your mastery of abbreviations :)
For a newbie, you've got 'em down!
