hello, my first post for my first Disney cruise. Doing the Disney Fantasy sept 19, Western...
I have room number 12004, has anyone been in this room? I cannot seem to find to much about it.
Also, how much are the Cabanas at Castaway Key? Thanks so much....

Just make sure the ship they are talking about is the Fantasy, not the Dream. (Two of them are for Fantasy, two for Dream.)

12004 on the Fantasy is a fantastic room. It is very beautifully decorated since it can be shared with the Walt suite. We had it in addition to 12012 (1-bedroom) and used it when someone wanted to watch a movie: it is so tempting to just lay down on the bed and watch tv on the gorgeous screen. You can find better photos elsewhere, but I am adding these to clarify the confusion around the unique entry layout that is reflected in many online reviews. Note that the tv on the Dream may be significantly different(?), I can't remember and it could have changed after the recent dry-dock(?).
As for sleeping arrangements, the sofa folds out to a 2 person sleeper bed while a bunk bed comes down from the ceiling.
I would pick this room again over any of the other non-bump-out Cat V staterooms. 12504 might have a tiny edge since you'd have a better shot at watching the fireworks and get the best view of Castaway Cay, but that's nitpicking.
