Planning our first cruise to Alaska August 17, 2015 and have a couple of questions. Currently have a hold on 2 10A rooms which are forward on deck 7 (7507 & 7509); was told deck 2 staterooms are noisy and I have light kids who are light sleepers. Has anyone had these rooms; how are they? My only other fear is that we are traveling with my in-laws and my father-in-law has a history of motion sickness when fishing on Lake Michigan. Is it worth the extra $550/room to be in a quieter location and hope for the best with motion sickness. Thanks for the advice!
