Hello! My daughter and I will arrive in CA on 5/30 for our first DL visit! We have 4 day ph passes and are trying to decide what day we should go to DL. We won't go on arrival day but can't decide if Saturday or Sunday would be best for our first day. Saturday is a sold out grad nite so I am thinking it will be absolutely packed and that Sunday would be slightly better. We are also planning a trip to knotts berry as we are cedar fair platinum passholders. I think KB would be better on Saturday since it's completely free and won't mind if it's packed. My daughter is having a difficult time deciding as it's hard for her to imagine not going to DL right away but also doesn't want her first visit to be miserable.

What does everyone recommend?

Although Disneyland will be busy.. Knotts on a Weekend is ridiculous . You can get up to 2 to 3 hr waits on rides... they dont have the fast pass system like D/L, saying that you can buy a front line pass. singles I think is $45. which allows you to go through the exits on 10 of the rides and get on straight away...

I would do CA on the Sunday.. get your rides done early and then in the pm do shows etc..
or Start at D/L and then move over to CA in the PM.
Hope you have a great trip

Thanks! I think we'll do KB and pay for a fp since we won't pay for anything else there. My daughter has higher expectations for DL and I'm afraid Saturday may be too crazy. KB is just like Cedar point and she knows what to expect on a Saturday.
