First Day Of School

Here's why I dont like the first day of school:

-You have to write down personal information
-You have to play "People Bingo"

Well, for my first day as a freshman, I have no freaking clue where I'm supposed to go, because we never were told.
AND, well, they decided to make these 'Clans'... which I don't know what those are supposed to be eitehr.

Yikes, I remember my first year at CCVI. The school seemed so big...but I got through it. Now im in grade 11

Dont worry, you'll do fine.

I'm not really worried about not knowing anyone or being late or whatever.
It's just not knowing what the heck to do.
I don't like going places and winding up just standing there stupidly.

I don't like school cause...

1- My teacher is hyper

2- We have these stupid " Caught in the act " cards.

3- We have a V.I.P rom - very important panthers - ( btw we're the wildcats -

4- We had a stupid magazine sale and everyone had to do something like:

*Spray paint your hair
*Wear pj's to school
*Wear nonmatching socks
*Wear sandals to P.E
*Tell everyone in the school their your *BFFL

And the classmates get to choose one random thing. It's ridiculous.
And those are only some of the kids choices.

I don't have a clue!
Everyone int he school, is in a clan. The clans don't seem to have any particular way the people are put in them. There is like 4 or 5 of them.
It's to raise school spirit and involvement, but I don't know what we DO.

I don't really mind the first day of school.
I kinda like filling out forms and stuff. (Yeah, I'm weird.)

Why I dont like school at all

1) You have to get up early

2) You have to listen to your boring teachers

3) You have to learn

4) I'm afraid of some of my teachers

5) You get yelled out by the band teacher for no reason at all

6) You have to go to bed early

There are alot more but this is all I can think about for now

I love the first couple days of school because we don't have to bring anything with us, and we don't have to do anything

I ususally dont like the first few days...but this year is different! My classes are amazing, and my friends are in all of them!!! I am so happy!

Me, 2 of my girl friends, and 7 of my guy friends have a colt. Idk what it's for, but I just hang out with them like I usually do..so yeah

ahh we played people bingo today at orientation!!!! It burned because the all the topic things were the same and it was based on my teacher!!!

My crazy teacher that speaks in 3rd person!!

Mmk. Who should I ask first? The kid I've known since fifth grade, or the kid I've known since seventh? I already know my classmates tyvm.

I hate:
-All of the boring lectures on the rules and procedures of the classroom, and they are ALL THE SAME in every classroom...
-Seeing all the people you don't want to see again, and knowing you'll be in the same room as they are for the next 180 days
-Filling out all of the forms and "contracts"
-Everyone is trying to impress their classmates in their new outfits and all

Last year we did a questionare in most of the classes and it was questions like: Whos wearing green? Write down their name.
Then in Some classes we got text books and filled out contracts and etc. and then in languages we made up names. Thats about it.

6 more days till my 1st day of school.

Tuesday was my LAST first day of high school. Woot. *Seniors rule*.

Anywho, the things I hate about the 1st day:

~The lectures from the teachers about what we are going to be doing in the class. UGH!

~Homeroom! It's a WASTE OF TIME! Since we are a seniors, we don't need to learn anything about what goes on in the school, so we just sit there for a half an hour! ARG!

And most of all...

~Coming back from a careless, be-yourself, no-self-consciencousness summer to the judgmental, clique-filled, non-stop-drama society of high school.

The best thing about the first day of SENIOR YEAR:

~Knowing that everything I do this year is based on getting ready to LEAVE HIGH SCHOOL!!!!

and of course,

~*and I mean NO offense to those freshmen out there (we're all freshmen at one point)* I find it hilarious to watch all the freshmen panically run through the halls looking for friends, classrooms, lockers, and bathrooms. I am a senior, I deserve to get some kind of humor out of the freshmen, right? LOL. (And if you freshmen out there think this is kinda mean, then just wait until next year. You'll see what I mean )

I had my first day of school today. It was horrible.

First off they changed the way the day goes. We used to have homeroom first thing and now we just go to our first period class.

I got my schedule in the mail a couple of days ago and I noticed that it was wrong so I emailed my guidance counselor to have her change it before I started school. And she was very kind about it and told me she changed it and I would get my new schedule in my first period class on Friday. I go to my first period class and what do you mean there's no schedule. What do you mean my name's not on your roster. So I go down to guidance to get me schedule figuring that since it's the first day of school they'd give it to me. Nope. Apparently all changed schedules are received on Tuesday. I get to go to all the classes on my old schedule even though I'm switched out of over half of them. So I got to spend the day telling teachers that I'm not on their rosters, sitting in classes I know I'm not in, and getting told rules I won't need.

Also instead of homeroom we have advisory. Supposedly it's to get together with a teacher and work on your first class and eportfolio. It's dumb is what it is. We sat in the gym for 20 minutes talking with friends.

And to add the school was like 100 degrees. That's not fun either.

My school starts the day after my birthday...september 5th.
I'll be a senior so I'm really looking forward to all that.
Hopefully we won't have to do any of those lame games this year like people bingo and stuff. But yeah I don't want to go back, but being a senior should be cool.
