WELL today is the day were some Mom's and Dad's do a happy dance, others go out to lunch with each other. Then there are parent's like me. I toss and turn all night...and sit and cry the next day, trying to figure out, where are the years are going to.
This is a big school year for us ,our twins are last year of Elementary and our 5 year old DS starts Kindergarten. Then the BIG WHAMMY, our DD 3, who is my sidekick and goes everywhere with Mommy is starting Pre-School today...
CONTROL YOURSELF...... I keep telling myself. BE HAPPY!!!!!
I am but yet extremely sad, where are the years going!!???
They grow before you even turn your head.
I am soo proud of all them!
So if you don't mind... Today I will have very red and puffy eyes...
The good news ...Disney is in 54 days!!!!! So for 9 days we can ALL be kids together!!
Thank you for letting me vent, the tears have stopped for now..I feel better..
I LOVE THE DISERS!!!!!!

I was crying the whole time. The school that he is attending was also his daycare since he was 3 months old - so this is his last year there. The teacher gave all the parents a little plastic bag with a tissue (to dry your tears) a tea bag (to brew and calm down) and, get ready, a cotton ball to hold to remember your child's gentle spirit
I still cannot believe that after 15 years of having someone home with me I now have 2 or 3 full days a week home alone. I cannot even begin to think about what I will do next year when the youngest goes everyday. I will have to go back to school as the oldest student ever or find a job that is pretty flexible. I just try to keep busy and know that they are all enjoying themselves (some more than others) and learning what they need to to get by in this world.
I guess I was more worried than I thought, and upset about Steve Irwin, since I had just heard about the whole string ray incident.
Also, lots of moms on here can probably sympathize with you.
I can remember thinking how sad it was the day I dropped our oldest off at Kindergarten the first time. I don't think I cried, but I was right there with the camera like the paparazi! It didn't really hit me until the first morning he rode the bus all by himself. I watched as I waited with him eagerly at the corner of teh driveway... then to see him and his big back pack that overtook his little body teeter down the isle and plop down onto a seat on our side of the bus. He was so happy and so nervous all at once! Then he turned and looked out the window and waved like a little man as the bus pulled away! Thats when I lost it! It is forever etched inmy memory - I can still remember the outfit he had on!
Dont get me wrong, I love my little ones, and they grow sooo fast - but this year they/we were ready to go back. They were sick of me, they were sick of each other and I was sick of entertaining and having the entire neighborhood knocking on my door every day!
Love this age.
