First day back to school!

Today was DS first day back to school, 3rd grade. He was up at 6:15 (by his own choice, usually don't wake him until about 6:50). Kept asking me, "is it almost day time?, when is the sun coming up?, is it still dark outside?"

Do you think he was excited?

And this morning when I dropped him at the door he asked me for a bye kiss. The past two years he has been to embarrassed to give mom a bye kiss at the drop off (some of his friends might see you know). But this morning I pulled up to let him out and he said "can I have a bye kiss?" and leaned his check over to me.

That is so cute! How was his first day?

He had a great day, thanks for asking. In the summer he was a little worried about going to 3rd grade but now he is really excited. He said his teacher was really nice (he already knew her from last year, as her class is right next to the 2nd grade class).
