First cruise Concierge questions- Wish

I would like to plan our first cruise in 2022 in the new Wish ship , 4 nights to the Bahamas

Reading along it seems that concierge perks are worth it, however have some questions to get your opinions please:

A. Advice #1 Choosing a stateroom in a deck that is in between other stateroom dedicated decks to avoid noise. How can that be done in concierge? For what i can see in the deck plans, concierge rooms will be directly below the pool or next to it. therefore, question is.. how noisy the concierge staterooms are?

B. Advice #2. To reduce risk of dizziness, book a mid location. But concierge rooms seem to be mostly on the corners, right? So.. how has it been the experience for concierge travelers prone to sea sickness?

C. Advice #3. Choosing stateroom based on your travel preferences, stay close to the areas where you’d stay the most. For first time cruisers, how do I pick that? LOL… we are a party of 5: girl (6 yrs old), and 4 adults (mom/dad/aunt/grandmom)… what area could be most likely the girl’s favorite?

D. Advice #4. Pick your excursions with anticipation. I have seen some reviews of Nassau’s excursions, which looks nice.. but seems like a lot to do (kind of a go go go day)… is it worth it? Would be best just half day excursions and come back to enjoy the ship? Or I could be missing some truly good experiences?

E.Advice #5. Send your concierge email at 12:01am once the window open to get a Castaway Cabanna. Based on the number of concierge rooms and cabannas available it seems it will be challenging, but still worth to try. Why the 12:01 advice? 12:00? 12:02? How literal that is hahaha.. and what tips can you share here please?

You have a lot of time to go before you need to think about D &E. With the number of cabins, sending a message at 1201 is probably wise. However, I wouldn't be surprised if they gave some preference to people who were booked in the Royal and 2 stpru Suites first, then 1 bed room, then verandah, then ocean view. But no one knows at this point.

The concierge rooms are not just in the corners. but across that upper forward area. You won't have tons of noise unless your room is close to an elevator or the doors to the deck, and even then it shouldn't be much. Try and pick a 12010 - 12016 or corresponding number on starboard and on deck 13. Since you are choosing concierge, you don't need to follow the advice on where you spend most of your time. For other cruisers who spend more time in the adult areas they would likely prefer a forward room. I like rooms closer to deck 5 so I can drop off and pick up my kids from the kids club with ease. Other people like aft rooms for the proximity to cabanas.

Do you know if the Wish is going to have 2 BR concierge suite? I didn't see it in the deck plans

A-C yeah, the location stinks. i don’t get why they do that. Midship is the best for seasickness. Only the Magic and Wonder ships have concierge rooms midship. We pretty much will only sail midship due to my seasickness. Bonine helps though.

D stay on the ship at Nassau. With the price
of concierge for such a short cruise, you ought to spend as much time on the ship as you can.

E people recommend 12.01 because if you send too early (11:59) you will go to the very back of the queue. Because of slight differences in clocks, your clock might say 12:00 but disney’s clock says 11:59.

Do you know if the Wish is going to have 2 BR concierge suite? I didn't see it in the deck plans

I thought I saw a category just below royal suites that had 2 BR

I, too, am hoping to book concierge on the Wish for sometime next summer and am struggling with stateroom choice as we don't really know, yet, what is on deck 14 just above the deck 13 concierge rooms. For now, I am thinking of booking something on deck 12 away from the elevators (however, I also don't know where the entrances to the concierge lounge will be which will also have a lot of foot traffic) or even booking (if not completely out of my price range and if available) the 1-floor suite on deck 10 which will be far from the lounge, but in a quieter area. I am anxiously awaiting more info on deck 14 to see if deck 13 may be a better choice, but I would certainly prefer being sandwiched between staterooms.

IMHO, it really doesn't take long to get to places on the ships, so I would concentrate more on finding a quieter stateroom than finding one near activity areas.

Nassau is not the greatest port. I would consider simply staying on the ship that day.
