So I checked all the short cruises out of Port Canaveral for my October trip.

Obviously Disney was the most expensive and since Im planning on spending 3 days after my cruise at WDW at probably the Polynesian I couldnt swing the cost.

Had RCCL reserved but in the end went with Carnival in an Ocean Suite. 4 day cruise in the Ocean Suite was only 1500. Compared to 1900 for RCCL and 2500 + on Disney for an inside cabin.

Since RCCL, Disney, Carnival and NCL all use Port Canaveral is their bus transportation to WDW from the port? Or is best bet to take Carnival shuttle to MCO and then Magical Express to WDW.

The DCL transfer bus doesn't work for other cruise lines.

As said, DCL transportation is only available to people sailing DCL. You can take the Carnival shuttle to MCO to catch ME, but I wouldn't call it your best bet. It will be 2-3 hours from the time you get off the ship to the time you get to the Poly. Taking an Uber/Lyft/Car service from port to the Poly would be the fastest and possibly similarly priced as the alternative.

You could rent a one way car for the day. That way you can easily stop for some supplies for your WDW stay.

:offtopic:
October DCL cruises are Halloween cruises. I would stay at a value resort and swing the DCL.

I would use a Towncar service....it would be your fastest way. Taking ME from MCO (after taking the Carnival shuttle) will take awhile and your luggage usually arrives up to 3 hours after you do when using ME.

We used Go Port Canaveral. I took ME to MCO and took the $15pp shuttle. We waited about a half hour before we shoved off. But coming back we walked our luggage off and we were on the shuttle and out of there by 8:15. Then it was back to MCO and onto ME. The shuttles come out of Terminal A and ME is at Terminal B so you have to go up to 3 and cross the main area and go back down. Now coming out of Disney in the morning we did hit traffic, so it took over 45 minutes.
