I am trying to book a room on the Disney website starting on the 8th or 9th of December and I’m not finding availability. I thought it was a slow time at Disney.

You might try changing your dates by a day or two either way and see if anything pops up.

2. Disney run promos to fill their resorts year round. Park traffic is based more on off site than on site visitors.

I know the beginning of December is Pop Warner. Try calling the web site sometimes not always accurate.
