Very excited to say that we just got our first RV (well- kinda-sorta- actually my parents bought it to travel during the summer months- but said we can use it the rest of the time whenever we want to- so close enough- and plus it's free!
) Anyway- while they are planning a trip out west for next year we went ahead and booked FW for our anniversary weekend next month. Staying in the 300 loop 9/23-9/26...I requested a pet-friendly loop since I'm not sure if we'll bring the new puppy along or not (Bichon)- she will be about 6mos old by then. She is house/crate trained and a good traveler- and we will probably spend a lot of time around the campground- but I still worry about the logistics of 1x puppy and 2x kids on our first run.
We are Disney regulars and stayed in a FW Cabin last year which we really enjoyed. Last weekend when we heard about all this we went over to FW and had dinner at Trails End- then drove around the campground in the evening just to get in the mood. Kids are 6 and 9 and we are camping amatures so any advice would be really appreciated. I'm hoping this is a good experience and we will soon be Fort regulars as well.
