me 32 year old Disney fan
DH 34 year old Disney enabler
DS one year old

We planned a relaxing morning before we headed to the airport. I had called last night to request late check out. TTC was meeting us at noon, so I wanted to be able to come back to the room and change into warmer clothing. We went to the Cape May Buffet again. I have to say, it was a great way to begin and end the vacation. Afterwards, we hit SAB for about an hour. DH was still feeling a bit weak, but much better. We returned to the room, finished packing and went to wait for Tiffany TC.

I've used TTC many times before and have always commented on how they are always waiting for us. When it was noon and they weren't there yet, I got a bit nervous. A towncar pulled up letting guests out. Before it left, I ran over to ask if he was with TTC, he said yes. I explained that we were waiting for TTC and I was just about to call to check on our driver. He said to wait a moment, he called to check for me and they realized that our driver was waiting at the BC instead of the YC. The driver said that he would take us and that his next fare would go to the driver waiting at the BC, so it all worked out fine.

We loaded all 8 bags, stroller, carseat and baby and off we went to MCO. Thankfully, Southwest had restarted curbside check-in, so we just unloaded at the curb and were able to go right inside. We went through security. The funny part came when they made my DS put his Chip and Dale stuffed animals through the x-ray machine. Dale came flying out of the conveyor belt on his tummy, head first. Even Disney characters aren't above being searched!!

It was a nice flight home. DS fell alseep in his carseat on the plane with his Dale stuffed animal on his stomach. It made a great picture!

We had a magical trip with our son. We are excited to go back. DH says he definitely wants to stay at the YC again. I, of course, will be searching this website for all the good rates!!
Thanks to everyone for posting their information and answering all of my questions. I'd be happy to answer any questions about our trip or traveling with a one year old.

I'm glad you had such a great trip. Thanks for sharing it with us. :D

Jenni,

I really enjoyed all of your trip reports. DH, DS(12) and DD (2) plan on going to WDW in August. I know have Pedialyte, Gingerale and saltines on my must bring list. I am glad that everything turned out well. It sounds like you all had a good time.:)

Thank goodness that TTC driver was able to help you out and get you to the airport on time. What a blessing that your ds's ears didn't seem to bother him on the flight home.

I read and enjoyed each one of your trip reports. You had a magical vacation! Thank you, so much, for taking the time to post this and share the magic with all of us.

Thank you so much for your posts! We will be traveling to DW in Feb. and my ds will be 11.5 months. Almost the same age as yours at the time of your trip.

I was so excited to see that your son liked the characters, and enjoyed some of the rides. When we booked the trip (6 months ago) we did not know if our DS would respond to anything or like any of the rides.

Whatever his reactions are, we will have a great time, just being together as a family.

One question.. What things did you pack for your son that you were so glad that you did, and what things do you wish you would have brought?

Thanks!

Thanks for taking the time post your report, I enjoyed reading it! :)
