travel party is me (44), my mom (72), and my brother (38). We arrived today and head back home next Saturday.

After dropping our bags off at Pop, we took a Lyft over to the Polynesian for some drinks from the pool bar. First round was The Voyager for me and a strawberry margarita on the rocks for my brother.

Next stop, Magic Kingdom for lunch.

We took the boat over to Magic Kingdom and renewed our annual passes. After stopping to get a bucket of popcorn and wandering around the park a bit, it was time for lunch at Skipper Canteen.

I had to get the margarita since I couldn’t pass up the chance to have cocktail in MK. Brother got coffee and mom just had water.

We ordered the cachapas share and brother got the carrot ginger soup to start.

For entrees, I had the hanger steak. The ginger soy of the steak was delicious and I could have eaten a bowl of the garlic rice. Brother has the falafel, which he always enjoys, and shared a couple with mom. Mom got rice and broccoli other kids menu. She often orders kids meals or sides from the kids menus and never has an issue.

We had brunch yesterday at Crystal Palace. Timed it to get both breakfast and lunch food. We all went up at different times so I didn’t get many pictures.0E8BA261-3422-4526-9CD1-81D08EBF4306.jpeg136E9208-61EB-4E52-8FF3-20913AF70752.jpeg

This really filled us up for most of the day and only snacked on some popcorn until the evening. Brother and I got some “poutine” in Epcot and a chicken and mushroom pie then watched Harmonious9DEFE600-8194-4398-8770-0334504D7F34.jpeg

Dinner tonight was at Tambu Lounge. We have never gotten anything but drinks here before but we will definitely be coming back. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We got pot stickers, noodles, 2 spicy tuna rolls, and of course, Ohana bread pudding. 8607F439-3A0B-4E7E-8AA3-9873CCAF45CC.jpeg4DA909A4-8423-4F17-B337-D5C16CCA4269.jpeg

We had hoped to eat lunch at the Brown Derby Lounge but the waitlist was full. However the restaurant had a reservation time available within a half hour. We checked in 20 min before our reservation time and were seated almost immediately. We all had Cobb salad. Brother had a gin mule and I had a blood orange margarita.

Great report so far! Thanks for taking the time to do this. I have food and drink envy - especially those drinks at Shula's. For some reason those looked especially good to me.

I’m enjoying your report! Question though - did Cosmic Rewind make you sick? I’m nervous to ride on our upcoming trip! What coaster can you compare it to? I can’t ride anything jerky or rough so hoping it’s smooth and not too crazy!!
