Others may already know this, but I didn't, so thought I would share. I was at WDW with my mom last week. She has always taken Humalog insulin at each meal, and then Lantus at night. Just before we left, her endocrinologist split her Lantus dose so that she takes a third at breakfast and 2/3's at night. Well, the day we went to Epcot my mom forgot and only took two insulin syringes with her, which she used at breakfast. After eating lunch at the Biergarten she realized she did not have a syringe for her noon dose of Humalog. We thought we were going to have to go all the way back to the resort to get a syringe, but as we were walking back through Mexico, I thought I'd try the first aid station. There is one right there in that big building on the far left as you enter World Showcase going towards Mexico. (I didn't think anything was in there except a restroom, but a CM told us that's where the first aid station is located at Epcot.) Anyway, we explained what had happened and asked if they might by chance have an insulin syringe we could buy. The very nice lady at the desk said they did have them and they were free. I knew the first aid stations would keep your meds cold for you, but did not know they would give you a free syringe if you needed one. It saved us a trip all the way back to the resort.
