This is the info I had for the last trip to WDW. Turner Drug will deliver to area hotels for a small fee. (407) 828-8125 to arrange delivery. They do not accept insurance.

They do not accept insurance.

Meant to say: DO keep your paperwork and submit to insurance when you get home, they might reimburse you. :)

Florida Hospital at Celebration is the closest hospital to Walt Disney World.
400 Celebration Pl
Kissimmee, FL 34747
(407) 303-4000

There are other hospitals as well, this is the closest though.

They will deliver non prescription and prescription meds. They were a godsend to me several years ago when somehow I left my daily prescription allergy meds at home. I was miserable after just a few days and the front desk told me about them. I can substitute Claritin for a short term fix and they had to the resort in just a few hours. The best part was that I didn't have to be there to meet them. They just left it at the Guest Relations Desk and it was automatically charged to my room. I thought that was great-- no stress about meeting them and paying them. And as I recall the delivery fee was not very much, and certainly well worth it in a time of need!

As for the ER and Doctors, if you need help let a CM call the EMTs or if in your room call 911. They will know the best hospital to take you to for whatever is going on. There are a few in the area, including a children's hospital, so you will be very well taken care of.

The first aid office in both parks have a detailed list of all clinics, hospitals and pharmacies. If you run into ANY problem at all from a scrape to full blown allergic attack, they will be able to help you and guide you.

We had to call 911 for help while on our annual Holiday Trip in December 2008. Our 33 month old was in distress (he was very medically fragile). When the ambulance arrived they were accompanied by CM from the front desk
at FW. The baby and I were put in the ambulance and transported to Arnold Palmer Children's Hospital. The people there were wonderful. Our precious baby died the next day at the hospital. When I finally was able to bring myself to leave the hospital they called a cab/taxi and the hospital paid the $40 for them to take me back to FW.
In emergencies, the staff there are ready and able to help.

This past December I had to have my own IV meds shipped there each week and they must be kept cold. The front desk was wonderful about letting us know when they arrived.

They also helped us find a UPS location to ship my weekly blood samples back to the lab.

Good Luck and enjoy your visit and hopefully you won't need any medical attention. But if you do, it is there for you.

One other thing to keep in mind....

There are differences in over-the-counter vs. prescription between Canada and the US. Make sure you check out the status of anything that you might need. (For instance, it can be tough to get a replacement epi-pen in the US without a prescription written by a US-based doctor, whereas, although expensive, extras can be purchased easily in Canada.)
