First Aid: Pulled/Nursemaid's Elbow?

Hi everyone! My soon to be three year old has had 2 pulled elbows in the last couple months (one time I was holding her by the hand and she lifted her feet and the other time she did it to herself at the playground). The pediatrician says some kids are just prone to them (I had one as a kid too). If it happens at the Disney, do you think the nurses at the First Aid stations know how to do the reduction? It's a simple procedure, but I'm nervous to try it myself. I'd hate to have to leave the park and go to urgent care for such a simple fix

It really is a simple fix. I would get the Doc to show you how to do it before you left, as you will likely need to know somewhere down the road anyway. It's unlikely the first aid people would be any better trained than you could be by your doctor.

Our pediatrician doesn't recommend that parents do it themselves. The First Aid stations are supposed to have registered nurses, so I was just wondering if anyone had any specific knowledge of what they could do!

A registered nurse is typically not trained to do procedures like that without a doctor.

When this happened to my daughter (my fault ) our pediatrician offered to show us how to do it ourselves, but that was after we had already ended up in urgent care.
So opinions vary on this! See what your doc says.
