My wife and I are finally getting to take a trip on our own (we have been MANY times in the past with family, friend, and our daughter). We will be celebrating our 10th anniversary and are beyond excited. In about 30 days we will be able to start making our ADRs and are curious about a couple things:

1. If you had a QS dining plan and a budget of $200 additional out of pocket to splurge on a couple nice Table Service meals; what would some of your favorite choices be (and if you know, about what is the $)?

2. What are your absolute must Counter Service locations?

Thanks!!

Favorite FS are: California Grill, Yachtsman, Citricos, Shula's (Swan & Dolphin), Jiko, Sanaa
QS meals: Fairfax Fare, Columbia Harbour house, I never remember the name of the place downstairs in the land but we go there if we are at EPCOT for lunch

Table Service - Sanaa, not romantic at all lol but my favorite TS meal is Boma breakfast, Olivia's at OKW is nice. Artist Point is my favorite Signature restaurant but it may be tough to schedule two table service meals for under 200 depending on how big of an eater you are when doing at least one Signature.

QS - Wolfgang Puck Express at Disney Springs, Tangerine Cafe at Epcot, Peco Bills at MK, Contempo Cafe at the Contemporary, Flame Tree at Animal Kingdom, Be Our Guest at MK for lunch, Sunshine Seasons at Epcot, Les Halles at Epcot in France

Favorite QS:

At MK Pecos Bills or for a semi TS Skippers Canteen (a little pricey)
At AK Yak and Yeti but I haven't tried the new ones in the new marketplace
At HS Backlot Express
At Epcot Anywhere in WS but really love Tangerine Cafe. I don't like Sunshine Seasons, too food court like for me.

Favorite TS:

None at MK unless you count Skipper's Canteen, I'd go over to GF and eat at their signature but it will be pricey.
AK - again none there but Jikos at AKL is nice
HS - Brown Derby but it can be pricey
Epcot - Again just about anywhere in WS, love them all.

Love the Yachtsman at Yacht Club
All the ones at Swan/Dolphin look interesting but haven't tried any yet except for breakfast.

I loved BOG, when we went last year. But I love Beauty and the Beast. The whole meal, start to finish was delicious and who wouldn't wanna meet the Beast afterwards? We had the mussels, the French onion soup, the pork chop, the seafood pastry, and various cupcakes. It was me and my teen sons and I believe our bill was $160 with tip?

Hit send too soon, my dh and I are going on our first adults only trip in Sept. I booked Morimoto, Ohana dinner, BOG, Sanaa, Via Napoli, Kona breakfast. HTH

Definitely hit BOG for lunch if you can get a reservation; I came away feeling like we'd had a meal that was a step above the QS available elsewhere in the parks. Be interested if anyone here has opinions on BOG dinner; my conclusion for our trip last fall was that it wasn't worth the additional cost when we could experience the atmosphere at QS prices. Elsewhere at MK Columbia Harbor House isn't mind-blowing, but it does have a nice, air-conditioned upstairs seating area with a good view. Good place to cool down.

Be sure to hit the new QS area in Africa when you're at AK. They've got several stands there (it's themed sort of like a little market), and it's some of the most interesting QS food on property. I had a sort of spicy cousin to a corndog there, and the salad that came with it was probably my favorite thing I ate that trip.

Have you considered a dinner show? The downside is that if you do something like Hoop Dee Doo you may not have enough of that $200 left for another nice TS meal, though if you go for tier 3 you might pull it off (and the actors come up into the balcony seating, so you're not missing out on interaction). For regular table service, I have very fond memories of Liberty Tree Tavern in MK, though it has been years since we ate there.

We have done numerous adult trips and they are "magical"! If it were me I would stick with one TS if I were trying to keep to a budget. We rarely leave a nice TS dinner for less than $100 so trying to do 2 might be a stretch.

We love Jiko, Le Cellier, and once had a marvelous (and REALLY $$$$$) meal at Bluezoo in the Dolphin (or maybe it was Swan!).
