As I sit here at my computer in my dorm room, I can see out my window and it's snowing! We've had a few flakes here and there over the past few weeks, but this is the first *real* snowfall because the snow is "full" (if that makes any sense) and it's actually accumulating. I always get really excited when it snows for the first time in the season, I don't know why haha. I always feel like I'm 10 again, lol. It's a gorgeous snowfall too. I live right next to the old apartments (the apt. complex of the campus) and the apt. buildings form a horseshoe type of pattern with my dorm sort of blocking the open side...well anyway haha, the snow is falling on the courtyard (the yard in the center of all these buildings) and against the lights and the couple of trees in the courtyard along with the benches, it's absolutely breathtaking.

After the first snowfall however, I tend to begin hating snow haha. I am a fan of the sun and beaches hehe.

So anyway, what do you guys think of snow and has it started snowing where you live (if you get snow where you live)?

I want snow sooo bad, but all we have is either sun, or rain. And it's really cold too.

I won't get any snow here. If I want it, I have to drive to the mountains to enjoy it.

But, I feel like its totally peaceful when it is snowing out.

I've never seen snow before. I'm hoping to see some when I go to Michigan in January. :goodvibes

it snowed here last night. weve only had small flakes here and there and now theres a bit more than a dusting on the ground. just enough for a snowball :teeth:

It's been snowing on and off here for the past few weeks, but we only have about an inch of snow lol.

Anyone in warm, non-humid weather want to trade with me? We've been having snow since the end of September. We got 17 inches 2 days before Halloween.

Same here. We got about 1".

One inch??
wow i live on long island too and we only got little flakes :[
Me and my mom were driving home from seeing twilight for the fifth time (lol) and we stopped at taco bell, and while we were in the drive-through line it started snowing but only a little. Then it started snowing even more and then it stopped :[
and then this morning when i was at church it started snowing but i was inside almost the whole time it was snowing :[
hopefully it will snow more later :D

It's snowed a little bit here.

But I dont really like it. I don't like the cold. I like being able to wear sweaters but when it gets so cold that I have to wear a jacket over the sweater, its just too cold.

So after I posted this thread, the snow got heavier! A friend of mine lives 15 minutes from the campus and it took him 40 minutes to get home!! :scared1:

Though today is has melted considerably. I have a feeling it will snow again tonight if we get any precipitation.

It's snowing right now.
It says it won't be more than 5 cm, but I'm hoping for a snow day anyways xD

Hmm we've had a pretty heavy snow fall the past two weeks, right now we have about 4 to 5 inches...

Remember we already had a deal made?;)

Seriously though, you need to make a trip out west.

Indeed!
I DID! I was there in August, well, SoCal anyway. It was AWESOME! Definitely my type of weather, nice and dry and in the 80s and 90s.
