Hi everyone!
Oh, my--it's July!!! We have now officially entered Summertime in Georgia. It's 98 degrees and unbearably humid. It honestly feels like you're trying to walk through pea soup outside.
I started out doing Cathe's Step Blast this morning, but this dvd's been giving me some problems for a while--pixelating, freezing--and it finally gave out for good about 10 minutes into the workout. So, I switched over to Low Max instead. Step Blast is my fave Cathe cardio, so I emailed her customer service--they supposedly guarantee their dvd's for life. Hopefully, I'll get it replaced.
Hi s&k'smom!

I've heard so many mixed reviews of Lisa's BSS3 tape--some have said that the cueing is less than stellar, and some don't like the music, either. Have you ever seen Lisa's before and after pics? She has really changed her body and you can tell how hard she must've worked. The pics are really amazing!
Hunny Bunny! I'm so glad you've decided to keep working toward your goals, Tracy, and I hope journaling your food intake works for you! I know it gave me a lot of insight as to what and how much I was eating--I never accounted for all my nibbling between meals, and it turned out that this was a big downfall of my program. But you'll get there, sweetie--I have such faith and confidence in *you* !!!
I am in a grumpy mood this afternoon, and some idiot at the grocery store is the reason why. I was at our local Publix @ 11:30 this am, and like I said earlier, today is horribly hot and humid. I'm done with my shopping, and am walking to my car when I see this big dog in a car near me, with the window rolled down a few inches so it could breathe. This always infuriates me, and I don't care if you're only running in the store for a minute--your dog can't breathe in a car when it's 98 degrees outside! So, I went back in the store to the service desk and told them that if this person didn't come and take care of the situation, I was calling the ASPCA. So, they page the guy and I wait. He comes to the desk and I politely (I hate confrontation--except with dh!) explain what I saw and how his dog could suffer heat stroke quite quickly. He told me to mind my own business, his dog was fine. So, I said, "Take the dog home or I *will* call the ASPCA and report you." So, he fought me a little bit and some mild curse words came out of his mouth (I smiled sweetly the whole time!), but he walked out and got into his car and drove away. Then I got into my car and was all shaky--I rarely stand up for myself and I felt all nervous and icky. So, even though I'm glad the dog's OK, I'm still ticked with his twit owner.

OK, rant over.
Have a fun and healthy Friday!
