I am leaving for my trip in 2 weeks. :cool1: I am staying at Pop Century. What is the best room to ask for so I can see the fireworks? I plan to request when I check in. We are getting there early in the morning so I am hoping I can get my request. What building? What Floor? Lakeside or not?

Thanks

I am soooooooooooo excited!!! :cool1: :Pinkbounc :cheer2:  :bounce: :jumping1: :dancer: :disrocks: :thewave: :thewave: :thewave: :jumping2:

I don't believe a stay at POP will afford any views of fireworks. At best you may be able to see some of the Illuminations show but you will just need to move around the property around 9:00 pm and look towards the north. Sorry, but POP is just not close enough to a theme park to be able to enjoy nightly fireworks. We stayed at CB which is between POP and EPCOT in 2003 and could see Illuminations from only certain spots on the property.

I disagree. We stayed in the 60's building, fourth floor view of the lake and asked for Epcot view and had a great view of the fireworks from Epcot each night.

We stayed in the 70's building, 4th floor, lake-side view. We saw the Epcot fireworks, too. I've heard that the 50's building has the best view.

I was in the 50's bldg 2 on the 2nd floor. I ventured up to the 4th floor and you can see some of the higher fireworks from Illuminations.

You must face the parking lot though and not the pool. From our room the parking lot was in front of us and the lake was to our left.

thx for all your answers. I had heard the 50's building was good, but I was not sure!!!!
