I am leaving for disney in a few days with a 2 and 3 year old by myself.What fireworks can I see outside the parks and from where. I heard that I can see the Eletric water parade at the poly is this true. thanks for any help in advance.

You can see the Electric Water Pageant as well as the Magic Kingdom fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian Resort.

You can see some of the higher fireworks of Illuminations from the Boardwalk-area, but I personally would not recommend seeing the show that way - you'd miss about 2/3 of it.

Last June we went to Fort Wilderness and watched the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach and then stayed and watched the MK fireworks. I would imagine you could do the exact same thing from the Poly. The MK fireworks would probably be the only ones you could really see from outside the MK. It would be difficult to get the full effect of Illuminations from anywhere outside of Epcot. (JMHO )
