I was hoping someone could give a rundown of the experience of the new fireworks show at various locations around the park. We have seen it twice from the extremely packed middle of main street. Although the view in every direction was amazing, I wonder what other locations were like. My daughter saw it from the Fantasmic viewing location and said they projected images on the waters, like Fantasmic. Where else has good viewing without the cramped sardine feeling of main street??

We sat right in front of the castle so we had the perfect view of both the projections on the castle and Matterhorn. It was crowded, but we staked out our spot early, and then waited a bit afterward for the crowd to thin. But the view was amazing.

How early, and what day of the week were you there?

This was on Friday night. We got our spot at 5:30 (yes, 4 hours early but it was our last night in the parks and a good fireworks view was on my must-do list!)
We had a good spot on the curb so we could see the PtN parade too, although that wasn't a necessity for us. There was room in the street right in front of the castle probably up until 6:30 or so.
