Fireworks

Hi there

Me and my DF have booked a two night break to DLRP for the first time in four years and are so excited to see how its changed.

I was wondering if the Enchanted Fireworks was still running for Christmas time, or was it just a Summer thing?

I'm pretty sure no fireworks run through christmas, except NYE.

nope, unfortunately no fireworks during Christmas season - but lots of other things to enjoy .

In 2002 and 2003 there were fireworks at Christmas and so when I came back in 2008 with my 4 year old daughter I had her all hyped up about fireworks only to discover there were none. Again last year, none. When booking this year I asked and they said no and I also made a comment on the DLP facebook page and they again replied no. It would be nice if they could actually tell me WHY they don't do them at Christmas anymore. Much as I like the lighting of the castle the fireworks were the highlight of my trips.

Anyone know why they don't do it anymore?

My guess would be that its to do with cost like everything these days

They only do them at selected time (summer, NYE etc) as they have an agreement with the residents that live in the surounding areas that firewirks will only be at select times and not all year round.

That's a shame as it would be cool to celebrate the Christmas Season with some sparklys in the sky. Thanx guys
