If you have your reception at night in a ball room in the yacht club or grandfloridian can you step outside and see the wishes fireworks? I really want to have a ballroom reception, but want to have the fireworks pictures. Thanks!

We had our cocktail hour from 8:30-9:30 in the Whitehall Patio in March and were able to see Wishes. The fireworks actually looked closer than when you are at Magic Kingdom. I hope this helps!

If you had your reception at the Yacht Club, you would have a better chance of seeing the fireworks from Illuminations rather than wishes. Same with the Boardwalk.

We're having our reception at Grand Floridian St.Augustine C&D with our pre-reception at the GF Marina. We'll be outside for "wishes" and we're paying to have the music piped in.
