Fireworks Views from Hotels Across the Street

I'm sure there's a thread (probably many!) on this topic somewhere, but my searches thus far haven't answered my question. We are considering the handful of hotels closest to the entrance (BWPPI, Park Vue, Carousel, Tropicana, Del Sol), and I'm having a hard time finding info on fireworks views from these hotels. I was hoping that at least one of them would have something similar to what I've heard about PPH and the Fairfield -- a good vantage point with piped in music. Can anyone speak to the fireworks view from these properties? We will be arriving/checking in late in the evening and I was envisioning that it would be nice to enjoy fireworks from the hotel that first night before heading to DL in the morning. Then the fireworks could be "checked off" the list and the other nights we could dedicate to the other shows. This is our family's first visit, we're staying three days, and I'm trying to be efficient (even though I know we won't be able to do it all!)

There needs to be a "serious planning face" emoticon ;)

The BWPPI, Tropicana, and Del Sol have no view other than walking out to a sidewalk area to watch. Park Vue should have a view from their parking lot. Carousel Inn has a view from both the breakfast room and the pool area.

None of the hotels have music piped in. We have watched from Hojo's and Carousel (and Camelot) and synced the music on our computers to the fireworks.

We recently watched from Tropicana's second story walkway. The view was okay, but there was no music. It was, however, a nice way to peek at them when we were too tired (and our kids were too tired) to still be in the park.

You can see them from the Park Vue. On one of our stays we were in a suite on the bottom floor near the front of the building and could see them out of our window. We also could see them from near the middle on our 2nd floor room, but our last trip we had a bottom floor room at the back and couldn't see them.

We haven't checked it out, but apparently the breakfast area has a great view of them as well.

We watched while sitting in the Jacuzzi at the roof top pool of the Camelot. Highly recommend! :)

Desert Inn and Suites has a fireworks viewing deck upstairs. Haven't been yet, but thats where we are staying in Nov. It has info on their website.

We have watched them from sitting on the Park Vue's breakfast balcony. It was a great, unobstructed view. As others have stated, there was no music. But let me just add....watching them from the hotel doesn't even come close to watching them from Main Street facing the castle. You only have to get to Main Street a few minutes before the show starts (10 or 15 maybe?) and everyone in that area stands. If you can work that into your plans, that would be SO much better than watching from outside the park.

Also....we were asleep in our Park Vue hotel room one night, and were woken up by the fireworks. I sounded like they were being launched from the roof of our hotel! It seemed much louder than in the park. It was probably just the acoustics, but it was really loud.

Happy planning!
