I am trying to decide to spring for the preferred seating for Fantasmic. It is worth the money to me as we have six kids, and I do not want to keep them all entertained for an hour or more saving a spot. The only problem is, Remember starts right after Fantasmic and if the preferred viewing for Fantasmic is not a good place to watch the fireworks, I do not want to have to scramble across the park with six kids in tow :scared: trying to see the fireworks. Can anyone tell me what the view of the fireworks is like from the preferred Fantasmic seating? Thanks!

If you do the first fantasmic seating (when they run fantasmic 2 times during the night) you are allowed to stay seated for the fireworks. The fireworks were awesome there! (We had been on the 50th tour the night before and had seen the fireworks from the top of the train station which was the absolute best! If you take the last 50th tour of the day they finish with prefered seating for the fireworks and a snack.) If I had not seen the fireworks from the train station I would not have known that the train station was a better location than the fantasmic seating area. If you are doing the vip/desert fantasmic then by all means stay seated for the fireworks.
When we went last month I knew it would be a once in a lifetime for my elderly parents and myself so I booked the walk in walt's tour, the 50th tour and the fantasmic desert for the 3 nights we were there. I did not waste my money at all!!! Both tours and the fantasmic seating were well worth the money. If you are disney-aholics like us, but never go out to DL then do the tours and the desert, I doubt you will be disappointed.

You will be able to see the fireworks from your Fantasmic seats and you will have a great view of the fireworks themselves. However, the new fireworks show is much more than fireworks. There are so many show elements that involve the Castle, the Matterhorn, and the general hub area (right in front of the Castle). If just seeing the fireworks explode is enough for you, then you'll be fine. But if you would rather experience the entire 'show' then you really will want to be somewhere in the Castle/Main Street area.

I would watch the fireworks first, then head over for the later Fantasmic show. It would be very difficult to move the other way if you were to watch Fantasmic first, then try to get over to the Castle area.
