Our first trip to FW is coming up in October. Someone mentioned watching MK fireworks from the beach at FW. My dd 3 doesn't like the loud bangs associated with fireworks. My questions...how clearly can you see them from the beach...are they still just as loud...are there other fireworks that can be viewed from FW? Any ideas for viewing fireworks without the loud noise?

TIA.

FW beach will be a perfect place for your DD to view wishes! There was very little noise if any. You won't be able to see any other fireworks from FW though. Make sure to use bug spray before you go to the beach at night!
Enjoy!

If you are going in October, definitely try to watch the Fantasy in the Sky Firworks that are shown on MNSSHP nights from the beach as well. The perimiter fireworks are really neat from the Ft. Wilderness beach. They extend from one end of the sky to the other....like panoramic fireworks. Very neat. :)

Take some chairs or a blanket as there is not much seating and it goes fast.

It's a good place to view! Enjoy.

Or do what we did to guarantee a seat, and good music. For 8$ per person you can take a wagon ride through the park, and they take you to a remote area away from every one else to watch the fireworks, with the music.
There are some things you'll miss, 1. the "shooting stars" will go off behind the castle, so those will be in the distant 2. You don't get to watch tinkerbell fly 3. The fireworks won't explode behind the castle.
It's just little things like that can either can make it or ruin it for a person. I've seen the show from several locations, on main street, in frontier land, from FW, and I'm waiting to see what it's like from the contemporary. But if any one is afraid of the loud booms, it's best from the beach. Although there still are a few that do send vibrations up your back.

What time are the fireworks during MNSSHP?

Don't forget to catch watching the Electric Water Pageant from the Fort Wilderness docks!
